About Us

The Beckwith Institute for Innovation in Patient Care is part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and supports the system by providing creative and innovative solutions to contemporary problems and concerns in healthcare practice, including management, leadership and organizational development, and clinical applications.

The Institute also strives to contribute new knowledge through the generation and application of research, in order to reach outcomes related to reducing costs, improving quality and supporting the exploration of innovative approaches to patient care.
