The
Innovator's Page
This page has
been created to showcase innovators and their ideas, including examples
of how they've tackled and solved challenges that they have faced.
In an environment of constant change, it is critical to communicate
these experiences, in order to demonstrate what we are doing right,
and to share information with others so they don't waste time "reinventing
the wheel." We hope that by recognizing these essential contributions
to our work, others will be inspired to use their imagination and
determination to meet the challenges they face and fulfill their
vision for patient care.

School
Outreach Initiative
A $10,000 grant
from the Beckwith Institute was provided to start this program .
While it is too soon to measure the impact on nursing school enrollment
in the region, the presentations and visits have been extremely
well received by the schools, teachers, and students. Many of the
schools have followed up and requested further presentations and/or
shadowing opportunities.

Hillman Fisher Foundation in 1996 to advocate and encourage the
use of innovative thinking and problem-solving methods to meet the
challenges of providing quality health care in today's environment,
