Measuring Impact

Each year, The Beckwith Institute seeks out new ideas and innovations to improve patient care. Members of the UPMC staff are encouraged to submit a proposal for review by The Beckwith Institute Board of Directors. If selected, they will receive a grant to support execution of their idea. These success stories show how past grant awardees are transforming their proposals into reality:

Frontline Innovation Program

This program is dedicated to funding innovations and empowering ideas that directly impact and improve bedside care and clinical practice today. It supports projects emphasizing effective and efficient bedside practices to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients, employees, and communities.

Clinical Transformation Program

The Beckwith Institute’s Clinical Transformation Program focuses on promising immunotherapy and other leading edge science solutions with outcomes that will advance patient care.

How to Apply

The application window for the Frontline Innovation Program is closed until August 2024.
